I am a West Auckland based, registered counselling psychologist with extensive experience in trauma work, coaching, mentoring and training. My work experience includes roles in the private, public and non-profit sector. In a previous role, I developed a nationally delivered training program on bringing an experiential and culturally relevant lens to supporting survivors of trauma.
My more recent interests lie in supporting organisational development and couples therapy.
I bring a client-centred, eclectic approach to therapy. I am trained in a number of research based modalities such as ACT, CBT, DBT, MI and Neuro-psychotherapy. I utilise skills and knowledge from these models to bring an understanding of psychological experiences, help develop skills to tolerate distress and regulate emotions, learn to offer new perspectives to self and develop effective problem solving skills.
